Kidz Bop can very well be known as the go-to music channel for kids, and parents love it too!

But have you ever wondered who owns the famous company?

Kidz Bop is an American children’s music company that performs kid-friendly renditions of popular songs. The Kidz Bop ensemble is made up of young, talented artists.

These songs are fun and lively, with kid-friendly lyrics. On October 9, 2001, The Kidz Bob released their debut song. The group has expanded to include merchandise, live tours, music videos, and talent competitions.

Additionally, the company has grown abroad and can now be found in countries including France, Germany, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

The internet has been buzzing with speculation regarding who owns Kidz Bop.

Some people speculate that Elise Ecklund, a popular YouTuber, owns the company, but is this true? Who owns the Kidz Bop label?

Let us find out today!

Who Is the CEO of Kidz Bop?

Elise Ecklund, a well-known YouTuber, was wrongly listed as the person who owns the company Kidz Bop in a search outcome that was subsequently corrected but remains amusing.

She recorded herself Googling “Who owns Kidz Bop.” A screenshot of the completed search was shared, in which she is falsely identified as the owner of the music company.

It’s unknown why or how her name ended up in the ‘owner’ column, but the issue has been resolved.

After learning she owned a multimillion-dollar firm, she took to Twitter to convey her disbelief.

She tweeted, ”I’m going to have about eight kids simply so I can form a KIDZ BOP company and control the market.”

What do you think? Is it a good plan?

Currently, Sasha Junk serves as the music group’s CEO. She was selected to lead the musical band in 2020. She has led the way in forging meaningful brand collaborations with Mattel, Subway, and Dollar Car Rental, enabling the music brand to reach a wider audience.

Who Started Kidz Bop?

Kidz Bop was initially released on CDs 22 years ago. Balsam and Cliff Chenfeld, co-owner of Razor & Tie, started Kidz Bop in 2001.

Craig once said, “Both he (Balsam) and I have children. And we wondered, wouldn’t kids enjoy listening to kids’ current hits?”

That was how Kidz Bop was launched, and this concept has been highly effective.

Who knew that rewriting the more ‘adult’ lyrics of renowned rock, pop, country, and even traditional Christmas songs into more child-friendly versions and then getting kids to perform them be such a hit?

Don’t you think, It’s better than listening to the Frozen soundtrack for million times?

However, Craig Balsam does not currently own Kidz Bop in 2023.

So who owns Kidz Bop in 2023?

Who, if not Balsam, Chenfeld, and Razor & Tie, owns Kidz Bop in 2023?

The answer is drumrolls, pleaseโ€ฆ

Concord Bicycle Music owns Kidz Bop!

Kidz Bop, which has sold millions of records over the years, is owned by Concord Bicycle Music. The fact that these tunes aren’t just dull children’s songs is what keeps their music so unique and, of course, enjoyable.

The music label looks for budding dancers and singers between the age of 9 and 12. It was founded in 2001 and has garnered enormous popularity since then.

Of course, nursery rhymes have nothing inherently wrong with them, but you won’t find any on the Kidz Bop CDs. Instead, you’ll find family-friendly music adaptations of popular pop songs performed by children.

Balsam and Chenfeld have been in charge of Kidz Bop since its start.

However, the company raised an extra $100 million after its merger in 2015 of the autonomous Concord Music Group and Bicycle Music Firm to establish Concord Bicycle Music.

Following this, the company’s ownership changed hands.

In Conclusion, No, the popular YouTuber Elise Ecklund does not own or head Kidz Bop. It is owned and Managed by Concord Bicycle Music!
