(recent interview)
Having now directed two Marvel Studios films, Taika Waititi discusses the differences between filming Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Naturally, Waititi's lips are sealed with regard to narrative details about Thor: Love and Thunder, but he discusses if there are any differences between filming Thor: Ragnarok and its direct sequel in a new interview with The Playlist.
He said, “I don’t think there’s been any difference. I mean really, it’s a similar size and everything’s the same. There’s a few different actors, but the energy and the intention is all still the same.”
Waititi didn't talk about plot information for Thor: Love and Thunder, but it's interesting that he said that it's similar in size to Thor: Ragnarok.
Based on what little is known about the upcoming Marvel Studios movie, it seems to be bigger in terms of both story and cast.
Perhaps Waititi was referring to his approach to the project, meaning he took it on the same way he did with Thor: Ragnarok.
Currently, fans are still waiting for the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, so it's difficult to predict what to expect from the film.
