With the way Marvel Cinematic Universe is barging in on the box office, MCU’s characters have a long life span. Now, Moon Knight may actually get his own solo fixture.
Moon Knight’s director Mohamed Diab reveals that he wants Oscar Isaac to keep on playing the vigilante for over a decade.
In a recent interview with SFX Magazine, Diad said, “I dream and wish for a film.”
He added, “But with Marvel, the way they play it, it's not like you graduate into a film. You can go into a film and come to a TV show and go back.”
Regarding Oscar Isaac, Diab said, “I can tell you for a fact, I can see him in the next 10 years, not just the next film.”
He added, “He's a very interesting character. He's probably the most interesting character for any actor to play. Oscar is doing a great job.”
Diab also said, “People already like him even from the trailer. I think the show's going to resonate with people, so I see him staying for a long time.”
Marvel’s Moon Knight will premiere on March 30, 2022 on Disney+.
