Chris Hemsworth is known for his role as Thor Odinson in Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we may never see him play the role again. So, Let’s break down what’s happening.
During his press tour for Disney’s Limitless documentary, The 39-year-old actor had a chat with Variety.
Chris said he realized something while filming the final episode of the series.
He said, “Doing an episode on death and facing your own mortality made me go, 'Oh God, I'm not ready to go yet.”
He added, “Now when I finish this tour this week, I'm going home, and I'm going to have a good chunk of time off and just simplify. Be with the kids, be with my wife.”
But the real reason is something else, something more.
Chris Hemsworth admitted that he is more likely to have Alzheimer's disease.
His physician Dr. Peter Attia said, “It's my belief that if we take every step possible, we can reduce your risk to that of anyone else.”
Well, As of now, Chris will be taking an extended break from acting, and he will return to play the god of thunder one last time.
We just hope Marvel doesn’t pull anything weird and give us the brutal Thor in his last film.
