French museum in Amiens recently found a missing painting in Madonna's collection.
The painting, believed to be by Jerome-Martin Langlois, was commissioned by Louis XVIII in 1822.
It was moved to the Musee de Picardie in Amiens but was believed to be destroyed during WWI.
Madonna acquired the painting in 1989 from an auction.
The Mayor of Amiens has reached out to Madonna to loan the painting for display.
The city of Amiens is in the running to be named the cultural capital of Europe in 2028.
A loan of the painting and a visit from Madonna could raise the city's cultural profile.
Madonna has not yet responded to the request.
The painting was spotted behind Madonna in a 1989 Paris Match magazine.
It's exciting to see if the painting will be on display soon in the museum.
