DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran aim to retain some actors from the SnyderVerse in their DCU reboot.
The reset is described as "broad but not blanket," leaving room for the inclusion of certain actors.
Actors expected to stay include Zachary Levi (Shazam), John Cena (Peacemaker), and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn).
Jason Momoa's (Aquaman) future with the DCU depends on the success of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Ezra Miller (The Flash) may remain in the new DCU due to good behavior and mental health treatment.
The Joker-verse and The Batman universe may be included under the Elseworlds umbrella.
Gunn and Safran will announce the full DCU slate in the coming months.
Warner Bros. film head Michael De Luca recommended Gunn and Safran as co-CEOs of DC Studios.
Henry Cavill's Superman will not return, and a complete recast of SnyderVerse actors is unlikely.
