(every iron man fan needs to read)
After leading the MCU on his shoulders, Robert Downey Jr. finally left the MCU but here’s how the RDJ can come back.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said, “By creating a loose end in the form of Loki, We are able to bring back fan favourite character into the form of Loki series without jeopardising the main storyline.”
He added, “If we got hold of some really interesting story that demands the original avengers to come back then we will do it whenever it is required.”
This line of thought confirms that the MCU can in-fact bring several old fan favourites without complicating Avengers: Endgame.
As we all knew Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features an Iron Man variant. This was speculated when Feige told that he wanted to see variants of titular characters in the MCU.
Yes, Marvel can create another loophole and bring back RDJ’s Iron Man but something big has to be in their hands to move from the perfect Endgame third act.
For now, We can expect Tom Cruise’s Iron Man variant known as “The Superior Iron Man” in Doctor Strange 2.
Let us see if Marvel teases any new easter eggs or flashbacks for Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man in phase 4 & 5.
