(from marvel comics)
With Marvel’s Moon Knight series, The age of Marc Spector is upon us but how does this vigilante perform when he’s against someone as powerful as Thor?
In Avengers #33, We have similar faces like Thor, Black Panther, Iron Fist, and Doctor Strange on moon. This gets interest when Moon Knight joins the party.
Thor as we all know threw his Mjolnir at Moon Knight. If you think Marc is done for then you couldn’t have been more wrong.
Not only did Moon Knight easily stopped Mjolnir but also took a lecture to Thor on his very own weapon.
As you can see, Moon Knight just holds his hand out and halts Mjolnir’s movement completely.
If we look back on how the deadly weapon is actually made of then it’s of Uru.
Moon Knight said, “You have wielded this hammer for hundreds of years, and you still don't know what it is.”
He added, “You might've been told that Uru is as old as the universe itself. That it's rubble from the days of creation...A vestige from before the great splintering. This is true. Uru is all that's left...of the very first orb of the night. In other words, Thor...your hammer is made of moon rock.”
This only means one thing, Moon Knight and moon rock are linked and the Moon God has complete control on this rock.
Moon Knight then sends Mjolnir back and knocks the wind out of Thor with just one hit.
So, Moon Knight cannot lift Mjolnir but he can control is as he pleases which means it doesn’t really matter if he can lift or not.
Do you think there should be an easter egg in the upcoming Moon Knight series for the Uru rock?
