The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World

The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World will be an anime soon!

Our Earth lacks magic. We are surrounded by the mundane reality which we experience and drown in every single day. Having manga that speaks of magical kingdoms on such a planet is a blessing. And so, another popular light novel and manga series will air next year. The male protagonist is different from the ones in other isekai, as his job role was that of an exorcist i.e., an onmyoji.

Potential Spoilers Ahead

The greatest exorcist was betrayed by his kin and those he worked tirelessly for (The Imperial Court). He is killed by a tearful young boy and steals his resolve, so he doesn’t repeat the same mistakes. Then, the man gets reincarnated in a land with two moons, filled with magic and monsters. In the Urdwite Empire, “Seika” is born to a noble and his concubine. Though he lacks magical power, he can still use the old techniques he learned in the previous world.

Seika shows his father the extent of his abilities by casting a blue fireball. Though the adult is surprised, he states that no one in the history of that world has become a mage without the presence of “natural magic power.” He then invokes an old spirit who served him named Sukune (Yuki) and rescues a slave girl from the clutches of his uncouth sibling. What adventures lay ahead for Seika and his allies?

Studio Blanc produces the upcoming anime television series, which will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime outside of Asia. The exact release date is yet to be specified, but so far, January of 2023 has been chosen according to the schedule. A new key visual is also unveiled recently.
